We took Ava to our neighborhood pool for the first time this year and she had a blast in the water except for a little mishap right when we got there. There is a 1 ft. pool for the kids that she can stand in. Cory stood her up and then backed up a couple feet so she could walk to him, but with the first step she fell face first in, and though it felt to me like she was under water for 10 minutes, it was maybe a second and Cory pulled her up. She took in some water, but recovered quickly. This picture is her just after she went under!
We'll hold hands in the water from now on!

Earlier in the week, we went to a friends to play in a kiddie pool, but I wasn't in much of a swimming mood that day, and just wanted to feel the water from the edge.
