First attempt at Potty Training

I know she's a little young to be already trying to potty train, but she's been showing so much interest in the potty lately that I figured we'd go buy her one and see what happens. So I brought it out today and took her diaper off and sat her down on it and told her to "Go Potty", so what she did was stand up off of the potty and stood right next to it and peed all over the floor and rug! Maybe you could call that somewhat of a successful first attempt?
